October 30, 2019 by theivylodge Leave a Comment

In 2006 Newport joined the national movement of holding restaurant week in order to feature the wide range of culinary talent in Newport and Bristol (East Bay) County restaurants. Thirteen years later Newport Restaurant Week is so successful that it is held twice a year, in the spring and the fall. This year’s Fall Restaurant Week will be held from November 1 through November 10. The purpose of restaurant week is to introduce visitors to these restaurants as well as to encourage local folk to expand their dining experiences to include new menu choices in new places.

Over 50 restaurants are participating here in the City by the Sea and in Jamestown, Middletown, Portsmouth, Tiverton, Little Compton, Bristol, Warren and Barrington. A special format of prix fixe, 2 course $20 lunches and 3 course dinners for $35. Additionally, some restaurants offer a premier 3 course dinner for $50.
